Levitra vs Cialis

Which erectile dysfunction (ED) pill is right for you? If you look at all the options that are available out there, it might seem overwhelming to choose the right one. We are going to look at two of the most prominent options, Cialis and Levitra, and compare them for your benefit.

Levitra

Levitra last between 4-6 hours, which puts it on par with Viagra. It contains the active ingredient vardenafil, which relaxes your blood vessel muscles. This encourages blood flow in exactly the same way Viagra and Cialis do. Like Viagra, you will need to take it about an hour before sexual activity this gives it time to take full effect, giving you the best results.

Cialis

The ED pill Cialis lasts far longer than Viagra. It can provide benefits for up to 36 hours, and it is useful for men who don’t want to plan too far ahead. Because it lasts so long, the potential side effects can last longer as well. The active ingredient tadalafil works the same as Viagra, relaxing the blood vessel walls for better blood flow. This allows for greater sexual control, easier sexual stimulation, improved libido and better sexual performance.

Which One to Use

Your experience with these two pills may vary from person to person, even though they produce very similar effects and use identical mechanisms. Even their side effects are about the same. The major difference is how long they last for.

However, if the side effects are too severe for you to handle comfortably, you won’t want to experience them for long. In that case, Levitra would be the better choice. If you don’t like the inconvenience of having to plan to use the drug shortly before intercourse, then Cialis is a good choice, since it can last far longer. It’s a good idea to give them both a try. Take about eight regular doses of one to fully test it out, as that will give you a good idea of how your body will react to it after prolonged use. If you aren’t happy with one, then try the other to see if it works better for you. Because the active ingredients are different, your body will likely react differently to the two drugs.

Your doctor may have a recommendation in mind for you to treat your ED, but it is not wrong to ask about using one over the other because of concerns you may have or preferences you may hold.
