Methodology

Sexual exposure was derived using established formulas for a finite geometric series. An FGS uses a constant ratio between sequential terms, used extensively throughout mathematics. In this case, when the finite geometric series is applied, it results in the following formula to be derived for sexual exposure:

This was followed by gathering extensive statistical data for each sexually transmitted infection for every country from reliable sources such as World Health Organisation (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other government websites.
